Betty Jean Fairley Hall, 73, of Lucedale, MS passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Success, MS. She was born in Biloxi, MS to the late Archie R. and Justine Fairley on April 7, 1944. Mrs. Hall loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed serving alongside her husband at numerous churches in southern Mississippi and Florida. She also enjoyed her career as an assistant teacher, influencing the lives of many children through the years.  Mrs. Hall will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Joseph Wilbur Hall Sr. and daughter, Amanda Hall Spence.

Her survivors include her sons, Joseph Wilbur “Jody” (Kristie) Hall Jr. and James Daniel (Lorraine) Hall; daughter, Angela Jean Hall (Nicholas) McArthur; son-in-law, Rev. Ray M. Spence; sister, Barbara (Bill) French; brother, James (Annette) Fairley; grandchildren, Gavin (Hannah) Spence, Cody (Anna) Spence, Jana Spence, Jacob Hall, Jennilynn Hall, Jolie Hall, Daniel Hall, Kenlea Hall, Drake Hall, Tyler McKissack, Kirsten McArthur, Kent McArthur, and Kyleigh McArthur; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 12 noon with Rev. Ray M. Spence officiating. Interment will take place at Blackwell Cemetery, 22137 Blackwell Farm Rd. Saucier, MS 39574 at 2:30 p.m. with Gavin Spence, Cody Spence, Daniel Hall, Drake Hall, Jacob Hall, Tyler McKissack, Glenn Miller, and Kent McArthur serving as pallbearers.
