Charles E. Huffstutler, 81, of Moss Point, MS, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Moss Point. Charles was born on March 28, 1935 in Jasper, AL to the late Martin L. and Halamae Huffstutler. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was also a member of the Gideons International Moss Point Camp. He was an avid sports fan, but he will be remembered most as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a great, private, dignified and loving person and was adored by us all and will be missed greatly.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Ray Huffstutler and sister, Wanda Bastian.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Geneva Huffstutler; daughter, Sandra (Gerald) Slade; grandchildren, Danielle (Michael Jackson) Slade and Ryan (Chelsea) Slade; great-grandchildren, Kane Slade, Audrina Olier, Briella Slade, Andre Slade, Harmonei Jackson and Cassidy Jackson; sisters, Fran Whittaker, Rosa Petrich, Ezra Mae (Erwin) Nork and Billie (Stephen) Lieb; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. In lieu of flowers send donations to The Gideons International.
