Delana Lee Reeves Salter, 98 of Escatawpa, MS, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 in Escatawpa. She was born to the late James Evans and Maude E. Henderson Reeves on June 25, 1918 in Belleville, AL. She was an active member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church for many years, until her loss of vision prevented her from driving. She then became a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church, attending with her family until her death. Delana worked many years for Cinderella Mills and retired in 1980. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Delana was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Guy Salter, grandson, Michael Guy Hall, son-in-law, Clarence B. Sigrest Sr. and by eight siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Ouida Fay (Hugh M.) McInnis and Betty Ann Sigrest; grandsons, Harold W. Hall, Sr., Geoffrey Lee (Jane) Hall, Bart (Debbie) Sigrest, and Richard (Karen) Sigrest; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Stacy, Seth and Shayna Hall, Sarena Hall, Christopher Sigrest, Kaleigh Sigrest, and Landon Sigrest; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 12 noon with Bro. David Abbott officiating. Interment will be held at Serene Memorial Gardens.
