Ethel Jane Gatlin McDonald, 66, of Hurley, MS, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Jane was born on September 19, 1950 in Pensacola, FL to the late John Lewis and Mae Belle Gatlin. Jane moved to Pascagoula, MS in 1960 and was a 1968 graduate of Pascagoula High School. She had a love for the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time on the water, whether it was at the pool, beach or a sand bar on the river. She liked to fish and always loved eating crawfish and raw oysters. Jane will be remembered most as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Jane is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert E. McDonald; children, Meagan McDonald Parker and Egan McDonald; grandchildren, Brayden Parker, Katelyn Klaire Parker, Audree Parker and Carson McDonald; brothers, John Michael (Linda Jo) Gatlin of La Grange, TX and William  Robert (Denise) Gatlin of Batesville, AR; brothers-in-law, Stan (Dot) McDonald of Sevierville, TN and Jimmy (Barbara) McDonald of Sevierville, TN; aunt, Min Miller of Pascagoula, MS; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The visitation for Jane will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Rev. James V. Miller officiating. Interment will be held at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
