Frances Eloise Hill, 92, of Moss Point, MS, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2017 in Ocean Springs, MS. Eloise was born on December 19, 1924 in Jackson County, MS to the late Henry H. and Isabel K. Canfield. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church SBC of Moss Point, where she was active in numerous groups throughout the years, including the choir. She was a past member of the Moss Point Garden Club. She will not only be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, but also as an amazing cook, most famous for her seafood gumbo.

In addition to her parents, Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard James Hill Jr. and son-in-law, Billy Simms Jr.

She is survived by her children, Michael Hill, Cynthia Hill Simms, Debra Hill (Al) Rogillio, and Denise Hill (Tom) Hurley; grandchildren, Kelly Simms (George) Githens, Jason (Melissa) Simms, Corey (Juleen) Simms, Travis (Kathy) Rogillio, Troy (Pamela) Rogillio, Trent (Crystal) Rogillio, Lauren (Rob) Allgood, and Scott (Allison) Hurley; great-grandchildren, Tyler Simms, Taylor Simms, Chelsey Githens, Bryce Githens, Ashlyn Githens, Anthony Rogillio, Gavin Rogillio, and Wynne Allgood; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church SBC of Moss Point. The funeral service will follow at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Michael Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
