Harold Thomas Brown, 77 of Big Point, MS passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born May 22, 1939 to the late Grady and Evelyn Brown. Harold enjoyed gardening and sharing the bounty with those he loved. He was known for taking roses, may haw jelly and vegetables to family and friends as well as hosting fish fry’s, shrimp boils and family gatherings. He was a very generous, loving man who will be missed more than words can express.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Ronald Seymour.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Sandra “Sue” Brown; daughters Sharon Seymour and Charlotte Brown; son, Frankie (Tonya) Brown; sisters, Sylvia Counselman and Marilyn Bounds; brothers, Ralph Brown, Wayne (Vermell) Brown and E. B. “Brownie” (Arlene) Brown; sister-in-laws, Dap Dunn, Jane (Mack) Clark and Ann Baxley; brother-in-laws, Dallas Holley, Overtis (Earline) Holley and Duane (Laurie) Holley along with eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation for Harold will be Monday, October 3, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Big Point, MS. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Temple Baptist with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment will be held at Agricola Baptist Church Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. with Warren Duncan, Garrett Brown, John Towns, Keith Levins, Frankie Brown, Darren Brown and Jason Brown serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dennis MaGee, Carl Seaton and Austin Seymour.
