James Lacy Green,Jr. (Jimbo), age 46, of Gautier passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and held various positions in the Information Technology field.  He was considered a computer genius by his family members.  Jimbo enjoyed classic cars and had spent time rebuilding mustangs with his Dad. He enjoyed music, cooking and spending time with friends.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lacy and Daisy Green and his maternal grandparents, Charles B. and Frances Martin and his Uncle Tracy Green as well as his childhood best friend and cousin Major Michael Green.

Survivors include his parents, James Sr (Jimmy)  and Barbara Green, two sons, Samuel  Jacob Green of Flowood, MS and Elliott Parker Michael Green of Pascagoula and one daughter, Emery Chappell Green of Pascagoula and Sam’s mother, Kristie Matthews of Flowood and Elliott and Emery’s mother, Courtney Chappell of Pascagoula,  longtime friend Marcus Burtt. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 29,2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier with Mass and service of Christian Burial beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Jackson County Memorial Park with reception at St. Mary’s Catholic Church following the graveside services.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his children through Gulf Trust Credit Union of Pascagoula. An account has been set up under “Memorial Fund for James L. Green, Jr. “
