James Lester Clark, 87, of Moss Point, MS, passed away August 2, 2016. He was born in Bayou La Batre, AL to the late James E. and Willie Mae Clark on January 19, 1929. James was a US Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict and then went on to a 43 year career working for Industrial Paper. He was also a member of Helena First Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers K.C. Clark and Gerald Clark; sister, Fay Tolar. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Frances Clark; son, Ernie Clark and daughter, Donna James, as well as three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Little officiating. Interment will be held at New Zion Methodist Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
