John Nollie Goff, 92 of Pascagoula, MS passed away September 22, 2016 at The Suites of Woodleaf in Thomasville, GA. Born September 8, 1924 in Lucedale, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Noll & Ora Mae Goff. For the last 18 years, he was married to Opal Goff who survives. He was a Marine Veteran serving in WWII and he graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in engineering. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Other survivors include his sons, Chris Goff and wife Pam of Thomasville, Georgia, James Goff of Atlanta, Georgia and Johnny Goff and wife Pauline of Lucedale, Mississippi; grandchildren, Zach Goff, Clay Goff, Emma Goff, Jerry Goff and wife Sherry, Mandye Goff Feranda and husband Larry; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Elsa Mae, Gloria Nell and Dorothy Faye.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at First United Methodist Church of Pascagoula beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sherry Judy officiating. There will be a time of fellowship for family and friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salem Methodist Camp Ground Association, care of Bill Wilkerson 8201 Old 63 S. Lucedale, MS 39452 or to the Community of Hope Fund at First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula, 2710 Pascagoula St. Pascagoula, MS 39567.
