Melissa Kay Larson ”Moe” Randle was born June 28, 1954 in Concord, California. She passed away on September 14, 2016. Preceding her in death were her father, Bert A. Larson of Longview, Washington and her mother, Dickie Larson of Walnut Creek, California. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy Lyles, Barney Larson, Kenny Larson and Donny Larson, her sister, Betty Lindsey and her in-laws, Allen and Sythel Randle of Pascagoula, MS

Melissa was always a joy and inspiration to be in her company. Her grace and beauty were magnificent both inside and out. Melissa’s faith was very strong. She always found something positive in every situation as she chose to see the “glass half full”. She will always be a hero to so many people who love her. Melissa was truly an angel on earth.

Melissa loved roller coasting, boat riding, sun bathing, fishing and all things outside. She loved photography and was considered the family photographer who chronicled the life events of so many relatives and friends. Melissa held several jobs during her lifetime. She worked at Olin Mills Photography, Mid-State James Paving and was a longtime employee of Singing River Hospital Systems in the EKG department, where she made many very close friends who loved her like a sister. She was so proud to have achieved her Real Estate License.

Her greatest love of all was her family. Melissa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. She was very generous in sharing her knowledge and skills of the many talents she possessed. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kyle “Mike” Randle to whom she was married for almost 38 years. She was the mother of Sunny (Warren) Casey and Shannon (Jeremy) Scott, grandmother of Kristin (Cody) Gray, Katie Hester, Kamie Hester and Blair Higdon, great grandmother of Michael Thomas Gray Scarlett Elizabeth Gray. She is also survived by her sister, Cindu (Bob) Rutledge, her brother-in-law Allen Karl (Mary) Randle, sister-in-law, Sonya (Skip) Gregory, nephews, Bobbie (Steffanie) Beck, Ronnie Beck, Seth (Callie) Randle, Kyle Randle, Kris (Brittney) Randle, nieces; Robin Udell and Shana Porter, great niece Delilah Beck, great nephew Jack Porter. She is also survived by her special friend from childhood, Penny Linton.

A visitation for Melissa will be Sat. Sept. 17, 2016 from 12:30pm-2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A 2:30pm services will follow in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Pallbearers will be Allen Karl Randle, Warren Casey, Jeremy Scott, Cody Gray, Kris Randle and Bob Rutledge.
