Obituaries » Willie Lee (Bubba) Wynne

Willie Lee “Bubba” Wynne, 47, of Escatawpa, MS, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017. He was born on August 18, 1969, in Pascagoula, MS to the late Willie Day and Annie Lee Wynne. Bubba loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and all types of music, but his favorites were country and gospel. He enjoyed spending time with his brother, Flint, just riding around laughing and cutting up. He also loved riding around with his daughter, Sarah, listening and singing to the radio.  He loved to shop; his all time favorite store had to be Wal-Mart. He loved to go, even just to look. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh. He lived life to the fullest. He’s happily at home with his mom and his brother, whom he dearly missed; not a day went by that he didn’t think of them. He had amazing love for his family and friends and will always be remembered for his big heart, his ability to make everyone laugh and have a good time, and his ability to make friends wherever he went; he never met a stranger. He will be loved and dearly missed by all.

Along with his parents, Bubba was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Jean Jordan, and his brother, Warren Maples.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Wynne; children, Sarah Wynne, Jacob Wynne, Lacey Rinks, and Emily Rinks (Terence); grandchildren, Robert Rinks, Stormy Rinks, and soon to arrive, Aliza Monroe; siblings, Shirley (Leroy) Spoor, Alicia (Tony) Pierce, Luis (Georgia) Alpizar, Teresa (Jim) Ward, Wade (Nelda) Maples, Marsha (Ronney) McLemore, Rachel Furrer, Rebecca Ayers, Flint (Jackie) Maples, Donna (Bryan) Raby, and Kathy (Steven) Hester; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Wendell Stork officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Crosby, Scotty Hester, Roger Hester, and Landon Anderson.
